JOIN ACMI– adult players – applications are on line– we invite you all to spend a week at Kneisel Hall in August and bring your friends. Email with any questions.

SUBSCRIBE – one of the best ways to make sure you hear every single concert is to subscribe to the Festival Series.  It is easy to say, “I’ll call and buy tickets” but we all know a week goes by and then another and you miss some great performances. Concerts are Fridays (7:30 pm) or Sundays (4:00 pm) June 21 – August 25. Just email  or call the office (207 – 374 – 2811) for information. The 2013 performers:

  • Viola: Doris Lederer, Katherine Murdock, Ira Weller
  • Cello: Jerry Grossman, Dmitry Kouzov, Joel Krosnick, Barbara Stein Mallow
  • Piano: Xak Bjerken, Jane Coop, Seymour Lipkin; piano
  • Guests: Amphion String Quartet, Attacca String Quartet, Formosa String Quartet,
  • A Far Cry Chamber Orchestra

The guest quartets are three of the “up and coming”, emerging young quartets in the country. It is exciting to have them on the series. Subscribe today – you do not want to miss a single note this season!
