Who: Author Stephen Costanza (Mozart Finds a Melody) joins Kneisel Hall artists
Costanza’s visit is part of the Kneisel Hall Blue Hill-Together in Music! residency, entitled “Mischief with Mozart”, taking place all week. The residency will focus on dramatic and narrative concepts in Mozart’s music. .The musicians will give interactive performances at Blue Hill schools throughout the week, in addition to several public events. In its third season of a long-term community building initiative, Kneisel Hall Blue Hill-Together in Music! brings a small team of Kneisel alumni and teaching artists to Blue Hill for semi-annual residencies in September and May. These residencies are designed to extend Kneisel Hall’s physical and musical resources beyond the summer programs in order to better connect with and support the work of the artistic community, and other organizations in Blue Hill. It is also an opportunity for Kneisel to share the love and study of great music with students at local schools, and increase exposure to the work produced each summer on the Kneisel Hall campus.
