team kneisel!! (1)Dear Friends,

Another chamber-music filled week!

Wednesday, Kneisel Hall young artists are joining Bill McGlaughlin (host of NPR’s About Exploring Music) at the Reach Performing Arts Center on Deer Isle. The young artists will perform Mozart’s viola quintet. K. 515, the first movement of Brahms viola quintet in G major and Beethoven’s piano trio Op. 70, No. 2. Tickets at Kneisel Hall, the gWatson Gallery in Stonington and can be purchased at the door. This is a not-to-be-missed-evening!

Two master classes: Monday pianist Jane Coop and Thursday, cellist Jerry Grossman. If you come to the master classes and then to the Young Artist Concerts you have a glimpse of how a piece is prepared for performance.

After the performances Friday and Sunday the musicians will be on stage to answer questions.

You are invited to join us all week long – there is no better place to be –

We hope to see you soon and often at Kneisel Hall!
