KHBH returns to Blue Hill May 30 – June 2 with Hannah Collins (coordinator, 05 – 07), Patrick McGuire (09-11), cello; Jen Chang (06-07), viola and Solon Gordon (05 – 07), piano. This visit will highlight some of the different ways Kneisel alumni enjoy musical life in addition to concert performance. The musicians will work with students at the Consolidated School, George Stevens Academy, give concerts at the Library and Parker Ridge and perform in the Concert Hall Friday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m. in a concert for all. (FREE)

The Seymour Lipkin Piano Scholarship is a reality. Last year Dr. and Mrs. Robert Feinberg challenged Kneisel Hall – if we could raise $250,000 to establish a Seymour Lipkin Piano Scholarship, they would donate $150,000 to secure it. We are thrilled to report that with your help we met the match; the first Lipkin Scholarship will be awarded this summer.

William Pease Piano Scholarship; Jane Pease Cello Scholarship
Jane and William Pease spent many Sunday afternoons at concerts in the Hall. Kneisel Hall was an important part of their lives. When he could no longer play, Mr. Pease gave Kneisel Hall his beautiful Steinway grand and when her beloved husband died Jane contacted Kneisel Hall. She established a piano scholarship in his name. When she died last summer we established the Jane Pease Cello Scholarship with their bequest.

Are you interested in establishing a Kneisel Hall Young Artist Scholarship through a gift or bequest?
There is no better way to insure the music you love goes forward. Call or email Ellen Werner (207 – 274 – 2811, to learn more.
